Last Night, Hubby was getting ready to head upstairs to bed, put the dogs outside, and when he came downstairs to kiss me goodnight...well, I, um, had other ideas! Being empty nesters, we have the luxury of being very spontanious! We have a big over stuffed couch with big pillows on the back. If you remove the pillows, you have a nice playground, so to speak! Well...just after our eyes rolled back in our heads...we heard this horrendous thump, at rather close proximity to our faces! We both turned and there is our 30 pound cat carefully straddling the narrow 2 1/2" back of the couch. He had jumped from the upstairs diningroom! Then he politely jumped down...guess he was making sure we were ok! Mental note to self...put cat out with the dogs next time!

We look forward to being fulltime empty nesters. We have two left at home and they come and go - and sometimes come back before the time they originally told us. Can make for interesting times of hide and seek!

We have four 4 legged kids and two with two legs and claws! Gotta have kids at home, human or otherwise!
